The idea behind the tavern
A team of friends and former educators in Evergreen Park saw something missing — a place to settle in, order something worth savoring, and actually stay a while. Their answer: a full restaurant, a whiskey-forward bar, and a library of tabletop games under one roof.
More than a bar with games
Every detail — from the backlit spirit shelves to the chef-driven menu — was designed to make lingering feel natural. Food, cocktails, and games aren't separate offerings; they're one experience built around good company.

Evergreen Social was built with a deep love for the community we call home.
One of our owners is a former neighborhood educator and has proudly called this community home for over 20 years. Our mission goes beyond comfort food, great drinks and entertainment. We believe in investing in our neighbors, creating opportunities, and building a place where everyone feels welcome.
To date, Evergreen Social has created jobs for over 40 local students, many stepping into the workplace for the very first time. We're proud to give back to the community that has given us so much, because Evergreen Social isn't just a business in the neighborhood—it's a business built for the neighborhood.
